My quilting adventure

Well I have been very busy trying to get a couple of wall hangings quilted, the whole idea was too paint them by filling in the quilted areas of this quilt top, but now I have finished quilting them. I dont really want to color them in just in case, I happen to goof up.
So I am thinking maybe I should do another the same and then color them in.

I will have to think about what I am going to do with these babies

A new feeling

I have just completed my first part of my butterfly quilt.
Here is a sneak peak.
Now all i have left to do is quilt around the outside of the Buteerfly, and then paint it with derwent pencils. I can't wait to see how the finished product looks.

I am also going to put up a couple of pictures of my fairy with the Mushroom, the feather fantasy, and My frog.
I will keep you posted on the progress of these as i go.

Our Quilting adventure

We have been getting all the un-quilted quilt tops quilting....that was a mouthful and a half.
We are very eagerly getting to the bottom of the pile very very quickly.

Here we have another Quilt top quilted ready for the binding to be added.
Rolly Pollie

Finally another one finished.
This quilt was made using the Lolipops on our website.
We are currently doing a Kit the same as the above quilt for the website.

Two Projects In One Day With Tops Completed

Wow! Have I done well this week.
I finally finished piecing 2 quilts yesterday, the Daffodil Day quilt has been sewn together with just the Border fabric to go on and then to be quilted.
I also made a strippy quilt last night and added 5 rows or Ruffling to the quilt top, and I must say i love it.
All I have to do now is quilt the both of them, and then they are finished

This is the border fabric, i am using the same fabric as the ruffles.

The Daffodil quilt.  I decided not to add the Embroidered Blocks, as this was going to take too long to get the quilt finished, I am very quickly running out of time. So I have just made a pieced quilt.
Finally I will add the borders and take a snapshot to share.

This is the border fabric i am adding to this quilt. Although it looks more green in the photo it is actually yellow back ground.
Well I am off to get these babies quilted before you hubby gets home, otherwise I won't get them finished.
